Fun at Knott's Merry Farm!

Every year, Knott's offers free admission to Social Service employees and their families. We took advantage of the great deal and spent a day riding rides at Knott's Berry Farm. The boys, especially Aaron, love riding rides (in Camp Snoopy, of course). We stayed until closing time and were absolutely wiped out! We had so much fun!

Christmas Party in Aaron's class

Aaron's Pre-K class had a Christmas celebration. I helped out in the class and Evan joined me. The kids had a gift exchange and Aaron got a race track. His was the most wanted gift in the class and everyone wanted to play with it! He did a good job at sharing and letting his classmates take turns on his new toy. Aaron still loves going to school. :)

Christmas Lights @ Mission Inn

The boys love looking at Christmas lights. We took them to see the beautiful displays at the Mission Inn in Riverside. There is so much to look at and it makes you really appreciated the holiday season!

A Hulk of a Bowling Party for Aaron!

Aaron wanted to celebrate his 5th birthday with a bowling party! His chose The Hulk as his theme, so we were all decked out in Hulk decorations complete with a Hulk birthday cake at the Brunswick Lanes in Fontana. Everyone came and had a great time helping us celebrate my little man's birthday.

Aaron's cake was super chocolate-y: chocolate cake with chocolate pudding... all his choice!

Let's celebrate!

Calico Ghost Town

While my mom was visiting, she and my dad took us to Calico Ghost Town. We had never been there, but it was much better than I thought it would be. It was neat, with little shops, mini-museums, and old town stuff to look at. We rode the train through the mountain, the boys panned for gold, and we took a walking tour through an old mine shaft. It was so quiet and peaceful up there. We had a good time and I would even go there again!

"Put 'em up!"

Is that an appropriate place for 2 young boys?! :)

Helpppp!

Panning for gold...

They both found a bunch of "gold"

This was their favorite part.

Thanks Mom and Dad!!
